User Scenario Scan

This is a short engagement designed to analyse customer relevant requirements. A typical scan takes 3 to 5 days. The scan results in a special protected section on our website addressing key aspects such as desired outcome for the different scenario's for various users.

First Iteration or Sprint

Based on the outcome of the Scan, customers can determine, to perform a first iteration or "prototype". A typical prototype will take 5-10 days, depending on the project scope. This engagement typically includes early interaction design, creative design and front-end engineering.

In order to support you in implementing your projects, we work along agile principles of planning and project management.

Ongoing and Finished Projects

The SnippetShop creates and implements AJAX website building blocks, so called “snippets”. The implementation of each building block is a separate assignment. In addition to the snippets, for a fully functional website, a client needs a hosted MODx application framework, site content and templates and possibly other snippets or applications. The SnippetShop only delivers what is written in this assignment.

The project pages contain the full and complete project documentation, available for release and future maintenance. No other documentation will be delivered.

Roles and Tasks

Task of the User-Client

We expect the client or user to contribute with User Scenario's. Each Scenario needs a short description of intended functionality. If the functionality is not described, it can not be brought to life. Each User Scenario has a number (USnnn) and a description.

Task of the Development Management

We expect Development Management to Designate Tasks to User Scenario's. As part of normal daily routine, during the ongoing Sprint, they discuss each morning with the developers which Task they have done yesterday and which onethey will do today. Development Management will need to split big Tasks in smaller ones if they tend to grow too large. Each Task has a number (TSnnn), a type indication (Sn=snippet; Tb=Table) and a description.

Task of Developers

Well, of course developers create the code. They study the project pages thoroughly. They update the Tasks pages to contain the right parameters. when a demo of the Task can be reviewed, or of a complete user scenario, they will update the Link field on the site.
